  1. GNU DIFF

  3. This is the GNU Diff package, ported to the Macintosh Programmer's Workshop.
  4. Currently, only diff and cmp are ported as MPW Tools, sdiff and diff3 will
  5. probably, standalone versions will maybe follow.

  7. While there is currently no documentation unless you have tex, both tools 
  8. have a commando interface.

  12. - Tabulator settings are read from the first file.
  13. - "%n" in -format option strings give a newline (since it's impossible to specify
  14.   a newline in a commando dialog).

  18. Note that the programmers who originally wrote these tools would rather not hear 
  19. about Macintosh bugs; please report all bugs to me.
